Roller bearing classification
Cylindrical roller bearings
This type of roller is mainly used for cylindrical roller bearings and can be used directly in machinery. This type of roller is standardized in size and can be used as a commodity roller for design and user selection.
Long cylindrical roller bearings
There are two kinds of rollers with shaft diameter and no shaft diameter, which are mainly used for long cylindrical roller bearings, and can be used directly in machinery.
This type of rollers are mainly used in needle roller bearings, universal joint needle bearing and thrust needle roller bearings, and can be used directly in machinery. This type of roller is serialized in size for design selection. According to the need of bearing structure, the head shape of the needle roller is cone-shaped, flat-nosed, round-head shape, etc.
Tapered roller Bearings
is a circular truncated cone, its cone angle is usually 1°~4°20′, also has less than 1° or greater than 4°20′, more than 2 °. The roller length is generally no more than twice times the diameter of the rollers. This type of roller is used for tapered roller bearings, and the rollers of the large taper angle are basically used for thrust tapered roller bearings.
