Single Row Tapered Roller Classification
Single row tapered roller bearings have an outer ring, in which the inner ring and a set of tapered rollers are included in a basket-shaped cage assembly. The outer ring can be separated from the inner ring assembly, and according to the standard of the ISO tapered roller bearing, the outer ring or inner ring of any standard type of tapered roller bearing shall be capable of achieving international interchange with the same model outer ring or inner ring assembly. That is, the same type of outer ring in addition to the external dimensions, tolerances need to conform to ISO492 (GB307) provisions, the inner ring assembly cone angle, assembly cone diameter, etc. must also conform to the relevant provisions of the interchange.
Usually, the cone angle of the raceway of the outer ring of the single row tapered roller bearing is between the 10°~19°, which can withstand the joint action of axial load and radial load at the same time. The larger the cone angle, the greater the ability to withstand axial loads. Bearings with large taper angle, rear code plus B, cone angle between 25°~29°, it can withstand a larger axial load. In addition, single row tapered roller bearings can adjust the size of the clearance during installation.
